How Many Times You Can Post On Craigslist Without Ghosting

According to Craigslist you may post to one category and in one city, no more often than about every 48 hours.
If you are submitting a post that is similar to another currently active post of yours on Craigslist, you will get a blocked message. Removing the active post will allow you to post the new ad, unless the active post is less than 48 hours old.

What also happens is if your post says active but is not visible, then it has been ghosted. Craigslist tricks you into thinking your post is live but your ad will not show up. This is called ghosting. It prevents spamming.
Follow these steps to remove ghosting  from your posts:

1. Delete your ad
2. Delete the cookies (or the Craigslist cookies) on your computer
3. Wait 48 hours to re-post
